ENDORSED CANDIDATES

NOVEMBER 2022

The Greater Pasadena Area Caucus is thrilled to announce our endorsement of six candidates in local races that will be on the ballot this November. We're so proud to support these terrific women who are stepping up to make our communities better.

But they need your help between now and Election Day!

Click on any photo to visit the candidate's website: you can make a donation or sign up to volunteer as part of their campaign.

Congratulations to these outstanding women!

We interview, endorse, and support women seeking public office.

You can help women running locally!

We offer education, training, and events for candidates (whether you’re running now or in future), organizers, and the community.

The overturn of Roe by the Supreme Court is devastating. But we’re in this fight for the long haul, and we need YOU.

As a local caucus, we work on two fronts: electoral work (campaigns) to ensure that we’re electing women to office who will fight for reproductive justice for all, and community building, to amplify, uplift, and support the work of those defending and providing access to reproductive healthcare in California.

Here’s how to get started:

  1. Add your name to our email list to stay updated and in the loop about upcoming events and opportunities to get involved.

  2. Download a copy of our Local Caucus Reproductive Justice Handbook to learn more about our caucus and about what reproductive justice is (it absolutely includes the right to an abortion at any time for any reason, but it’s more than just that - it’s the right to have children, to not have children, and to raise children in safe and supportive environments).

  3. Pick anything from our events calendar and sign up! You don’t have to have any training, background, or experience besides a desire to help build a better world. You’ll see events from our caucus, from campaigns we support and endorse, and from partner organizations locally and nationally.

Founded in 1971, the National Women’s Political Caucus is the only national organization dedicated exclusively to increasing women’s participation in all areas of political and public life.

NPWC-GPA is a multi-partisan grassroots organization working to increase women’s participation in the political process in the greater Pasadena area (including Pasadena, Altadena, Glendale, Sierra Madre, and La Cañada).

We recruit, train, and support pro-choice women candidates for elected and appointed offices at all levels of government. In addition to financial donations and endorsements, we offer campaign training for candidates and organizers, and hands-on volunteer assistance.

Over half the US population are women.

But nationwide, less than a third of elected leaders are female - and locally, those numbers are even worse.

Making communities stronger starts in our own backyards, with our neighbors and sisters and friends. Our mission is to bring women’s voices to the table, and to build a better, more equitable, and more inclusive tomorrow.

Sign up for our email list to stay informed!

You’ll be in the loop about the latest events, opportunities, and trainings in our area!
